A native of Henderson, Texas, Cindi first pursued her love of dance through competitive gymnastics with Rita Price and the Henderson Energetics Gymnastic Team.  After graduating from Henderson High School, Cindi went on to Kilgore College where she danced for two years with the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes (’83-’85), performing with Bob Hope, Donny Osmond, Rock Hudson, and Ann Jillian.  Through her connections with the Rangerettes, Cindi became employed with NCA’s SUPERSTAR Drill Team Camps under the direction of Mike Miller.  After graduation from Kilgore College, Cindi continued her studies at the University of Texas in Austin to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in English.  She also holds a teaching certificate from The University of Texas at Tyler and is currently in her twenty-seventh year of teaching British literature, technical writing, and psychology in the Texas public school system.

Throughout the last 26 years, Cindi has remained involved in the world of dance and etiquette through various arenas.  She is a licensed etiquette consultant through the Protocol School of Washington and served as a protocol consultant to the Kilgore College Rangerettes preceding their trip to Ireland for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Lord Mayor’s Ball.  While serving in this capacity, she also assisted with the interview process for the incoming Rangerette hopefuls as well as supervised the officer candidates with interview preparation and proper interview attire.  Cindi considers being chosen as a 2002 Rangerette officer judge one of the highest compliments regarding her knowledge and use of etiquette and her image consulting skills.  In addition, Cindi is also an etiquette consultant and adjudicator for high school drill teams and officer tryouts.  She is a motivational speaker for the Rangerettes and was the speaker for the 2008 Texas Dance Educators’ Association convention.  Extending her protocol skills further, Cindi is an active pageant consultant and was the official interview coach for Amy Lenderman, Miss Lufkin 2002.
