Class Rules, Contract and Disclaimer

Description of a few of our classes:

Advanced Style – perfect for those dancers who need to put a little style into their dancing. 

Fundamentals 1 class = grades K-2 – this is the only class grouped by grade/age level instead of ability level.  Class is one hour and focuses on fundamental dance skills.

Kicks & Tricks Workshops – this workshop is open to anyone who wants to attend and is NOT reserved only for IDC dancers.  The workshop concentrates on the following:  kicks, pirouettes, leaps (center, back, reverse, switch, switch seconds, turning switches), multiple piques, axles, C jumps, O leaps, leg extensions, fouetes and turns in second.

Rangerette Prep Class Intensive Study – for young ladies pursuing collegiate dance (open to high school sophomores – college students only).

At Intensive Dance Company, we provide classes to children and adults.  All dance classes are taught by highly qualified Rangerettes & college dance majors.  The Yoga classes are taught by certified yoga instructor, Lisa Waugh. 

Emphasis is on attention to technique with each student and therefore, class size is limited to 10 students per class.  There is NO recital.

This year, contracts will be sent via e-mail, unless you request a printed copy. If your dancer has taken at least one full year with IDC, then the mandatory parent meeting is optional.  All new dancers and parents must attend the first dance class to go over the contract.
